Dhruv Gandhi is a Partner at Anhad Law with over 16 years of experience in advising and representing clients across a wide range of contentious and transactional matters.

With a strong foundation in dispute resolution, Dhruv also advises on real estate transactions and intellectual property strategy and enforcement. His practice is marked by commercially strategic counsel, technical rigour, and consistent results across forums including courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.

Dhruv regularly advises stakeholders like developers, investors, funds, and landowners, on legal and regulatory issues associated with real estate construction & development projects, including pre and/or post-construction licenses, approvals, and permits required for the development of commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Dhruv has substantial experience in reviewing and drafting real estate transactional documents such as agreements to sell, conveyance deeds, lease deeds, leave & license agreements, collaboration agreements, indemnity deeds, bonds and guarantees, etc.

Dhruv’s areas of focus in contentious matters also cover disputes over the inheritance of estate and other disputes of civil nature, commercial contracts involving breach of obligations, specific performance, recovery of contractual dues, liquidated damages and enforcement of security, etc.

Dhruv is empanelled with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), as part of the specialized panel of senior legal services lawyers, before the Delhi State Consumer Commission.

Dispute Resolution

Represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, consumer forums, and statutory tribunals.
Handled complex arbitrations, including pre- and post-arbitration strategic advisory and enforcement issues.
Advised on commercial disputes involving breach of contract, specific performance, damages, and recovery actions.
Represented companies in disputes under insolvency and bankruptcy laws.
Provided strategic counsel and litigation support in matters of oppression and mismanagement under company law.

Real Estate

Advised on land acquisition strategies including Foreign Direct Investment in Real Estate sector, title clearance, and regulatory compliance across States.
Advised developers and investors on legal due diligence for acquisition and development of industrial, commercial, and residential properties.
Drafted and negotiated joint development agreements, conveyances, leases, and licenses.
Represented clients in disputes arising from development contracts, project delays, and regulatory approvals.
Advised on commercial leasing transactions for office and industrial spaces, including special economic zones (SEZs).
