  • Advising and assisting companies in acquisition of land for setting up manufacturing (also non-manufacturing) industries and undertaking layout development under diverse policies of the central and state governments, such as the Special Township Policy, Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT and ITES) Policy, policies relating to Integrated Industrial Townships etc.

  • Advising on application and procurement of ‘change in land use’ permission across various states for converting agricultural land to commercial/residential/industrial.

  • Advising on the legal and regulatory aspects of foreign investment in the Indian real estate sector, including structuring joint ventures in real estate development in line with the prevalent FDI regime, and advising on legal, technical and regulatory issues relating to the transactions involving real estate in India.

  • Agreements and other documentation in respect of the financing, construction and development of residential, industrial and commercial projects, including office buildings, IT parks, hotels, shopping malls, logistics parks, warehousing facilities etc.

  • Representing clients in various types of litigation matters involving real estate.

  • Advising various multinational corporations in preparation of complex real estate documentation for their ‘built to suit’ buildings across India. The scope of documentation included preparation of project management agreement, construction agreement, and architect agreement etc.
